Guidance Overview
We see students for:
Academic Concerns (schedule, grades, classroom issues)
Personal Concerns (feelings, mental health support, decision-making)
Social Concerns (friend/peer issues, ways to get involved at school)
Students may request to see the counselor, teachers may refer a student to the counselor, and/or parents can ask the counselor to meet with their child.
Guidance Lessons: (Mondays, in Schoology, during Advisory Period)
Character Education, Anti-Bullying, Social Emotional, Career Exploration, Academic/Study/Testing Tips, Social Media Safety
Grade Level Presentations:
Grades 5-8 MBF Child and Teen Safety – Anti-Bullying and Personal Safety Presentations
Grade 5 Puberty
Standardized Testing:
ILEARN (end of April-Beginning of May)
NWEA (fall, winter, spring)
Grading Periods/Report Cards:
Grades are posted for Midterms, Quarters, and Semesters (you can view grades in Infinite Campus).
Only Semester grades are posted to transcripts at the end of the school year.
